“No one can come to Me unless the Father... draws Him." John 6:44
“No one can come to Me unless the Father... draws Him." John 6:44
John's beloved gospel is the most unique one among the four gospels of the New Testament, beginning with the clear declaration of the deity & eternality of Jesus Christ; then, jumping right into the earthly ministry of Jesus as preached by His cousin John the Baptist beforehand; then, recording some key miracles of Jesus, some of which are exclusive to John; then, joining the other three gospels in recounting the Passion Week of Jesus, including His death, burial & resurrection; and finally finishing with John's overarching reason for reporting this firsthand, eyewitness account as Jesus Christ's "beloved" disciple:
"... that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name." -- John 20:31 (NKJV)
